Ascent Property Co is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join the team and take ownership of a well-maintained residential portfolio. You will independently manage approximately 120–130 residential properties on an end-to-end basis, with the support of the Directors and a business that genuinely values high standards, communication and client service.
Key responsibilities
- Managing landlord and tenant relationships
- Taking full ownership of your portfolio from commencement through to vacate
- Advertising and leasing vacant properties
- Conducting rental home opens and private viewings
- Processing applications and tenant selection
- Preparing tenancy agreements and associated documentation
- Completing Property Condition Reports using Inspection Express
- Conducting routine inspections
- Managing lease renewals and rent reviews
- Coordinating maintenance and managing contractors
About you
- Previous experience managing a residential property portfolio
- Strong knowledge of WA residential tenancy legislation and property management processes
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- The confidence to handle difficult conversations and resolve issues professionally
- High attention to detail
- A proactive approach to maintenance, arrears and portfolio management
- The ability to work independently while still being part of a close-knit team
- A current WA driver's licence
- A current Property Management Registration or appropriate real estate qualification
