Victoria Legal Aid invites early‑career lawyers to join the 2027 Current Lawyers Program. Over two years, you'll rotate through three eight‑month placements, gaining hands-on experience across criminal law, family violence, family law, and civil justice while serving clients in need. The program culminates in an ongoing lawyer role within VLA.

You will work across metropolitan and regional offices, supported by senior lawyers and mentors, with a strong focus on social justice and professional growth.
