Your recent role:
As a Psychologist within the Browns Plains Community Care Team, you will provide evidence-based psychological assessment, intervention and management for consumers across a community mental health setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support person-centred care through clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, education, referrals and discharge planning. You will also contribute to student education, quality improvement and research activities while continuing to build your clinical expertise with support from senior clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver psychological assessment, intervention and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
Manage an allocated caseload while maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
Collaborate with consumers, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve person-centred outcomes.
Contribute to education, quality improvement, research and service development activities.
About you:
You are a motivated Psychologist who brings strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care. You will have the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary community setting while continuing to develop your clinical knowledge and skills.
Skills &
Experience
Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based psychological assessment and management.
Strong communication and teamwork skills within an interprofessional environment.
Commitment to professional development, clinical education and service improvement.
