Skills and Experience needed

- You are an experienced front-end construction lawyer with demonstrated experience in construction, infrastructure and major projects law
- Familiarity with construction industry standard form contracts and procurement documentation
- Your experience might include supporting large-scale rail, transport, energy, renewables or other complex infrastructure projects
- Strong experience advising on the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects
- Solid experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and project delivery contracts
- Ability to work closely with project, procurement and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle and provide practical and commercially focused legal advice to project teams and stakeholders
- You are experienced negotiating with contractors, consultants, suppliers and project delivery partners
- You have experience advising on structure and delivery of major contracts and can support commercial teams in identifying legal and risk issues throughout the project
- Strong understanding of project delivery drivers and commercial objectives
- You have strong legal project management and problem-solving skills




- You have the ability to deal with difficult or abstract technical issues and changing priorities or situations by use of judgement
- Robust stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior project and business leaders
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical, commercial and project issues
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment
- Experience in advising government entities would be highly regarded
- You have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise
- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience
- You have a current practising certificate
- You have the right to live and work in Australia
