About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced management couple to take on the role of Regional Roadhouse/Australia Post Management at our Cue WA location (WA 6640). This is a unique full-time opportunity that combines roadhouse management with Australia Post operations, ideal for couples who work well together and share a vision for operational excellence.

This role offers strategic importance in managing our Cue Roadhouse facility, overseeing daily operations, staff management, and the integrated Australia Post services. As a couple, you will bring complementary skills and shared responsibility for the success of this bustling location, working collaboratively to deliver outstanding customer experiences and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all daily operations of the roadhouse facility and Australia Post outlet, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Manage staffing, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management
- Maintain financial performance and profitability through effective budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards,



and company policies
- Manage inventory and stock control for roadhouse and postal services
- Provide exceptional customer service standards and handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, staff, and local community members
- Implement and maintain quality assurance standards across all operations
- Report on operational performance and provide regular updates to senior management
- Collaborate as a management couple to ensure consistent leadership and decision-making

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in roadhouse, hospitality, or retail management at a similar operational level
- Knowledge of Australia Post operations or willingness to learn quickly
- Solid leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
- Sound financial management experience, including budgeting and P&L; responsibility
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Problem-solving capability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Health and safety compliance knowledge and commitment to maintaining high standards




- Flexibility to work diverse hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
- A couple who work collaboratively, trust each other's judgment, and communicate effectively
- Preferably, previous experience managing couple-operated businesses or partnerships
