About the role

We're seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our Karratha on a Full-Time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client care. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will deliver a high standard of occupational health and primary care nursing services to our clients while supporting workplace health, safety, and wellbeing.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Delivering high-quality occupational health and nursing services with a high level of clinical autonomy.
- Conducting assessments and triage.
- Administering vaccinations, including workplace immunisation programs, and providing travel health consultations.
- Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Assisting with health assessments, medicals, and occupational health screening.
- Monitoring, ordering, and maintaining clinical stock and supplies.
- Maintaining, cleaning, and sterilising clinical equipment in accordance with infection prevention and control standards.
- Ensuring compliance with Department of Health and Human Services protocols and relevant legislation.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Supporting workplace health promotion and preventative health initiatives.
- Undertaking general administrative duties as required to support the effective operation of the clinic.

Experience and qualifications required

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high level of clinical competence.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Strong commitment to person-centered care, confidentiality, and quality improvement.

Desirable:
- Certificate in Phlebotomy.
- Current Immunisation Certificate.
- Experience in occupational health, general practice, or workplace health services.
- Experience conducting health assessments and workplace medicals.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and occupational health practices.
