Focused Facilities Management (FFM) is looking for a Resident Manager to become the day-to-day presence at Piccolo House, a premium residential community in Fitzroy.

This is an opportunity to bring your service skills from premium hospitality, concierge, property or another high-service environment into a role with greater ownership and variety.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for residents, guests and contractors, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional resident experience and ensuring the day-to-day operation of the building runs smoothly.

You’ll get to know the building and its residents, build trusted relationships, anticipate needs and confidently resolve issues with professionalism, discretion and care.

No two days will be exactly the same. Alongside supporting residents, you will keep an eye on how the building is presenting and operating, coordinate contractors and services, identify maintenance or safety issues, manage building requests and records, and make sure matters are followed through rather than left unfinished.

It is a role for someone who naturally notices when something isn't quite right and takes the initiative to do something about it.

FFM's experienced Facilities and Operations team will support you with the technical, compliance and more complex aspects of the building, while you take ownership of making sure the day-to-day experience and operation of Piccolo House is exceptional.

About You

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys providing a high level of personal service, takes pride in the quality of their work and has an instinct for noticing the things that matter.

· Experience in hospitality, luxury hotels, concierge, guest services, residential property, facilities or another premium service environment.





· A genuine service orientation and the ability to build trusted relationships with residents, understand their needs and make their day-to-day experience easier.

· Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

· Warm, confident and professional communication skills.

· Solid organisation and the ability to keep track of multiple priorities.

· Initiative and a willingness to take ownership rather than wait to be asked.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm when something unexpected happens.

· The discipline to follow things through and make sure they are properly resolved.

· High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism.

· Confidence using technology, including Microsoft Office and email, and the ability to learn new systems.

· Full working rights in Australia.

Facilities or building-management experience and knowledge of building operations, compliance, Essential Safety Measures or OH&S; will strengthen your application. FFM will provide the building-specific technical support and development required for the role.
