As Restaurant Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and lead the Front of House team. You will work closely with the Directors and kitchen leadership team to ensure smooth restaurant operations, excellent customer service and consistent brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations
- Lead, supervise and motivate the Front of House team
- Coordinate restaurant opening and closing procedures
- Manage busy lunch, dinner and weekend services
- Prepare and manage staff rosters
- Allocate staff and sections according to expected customer demand
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and feedback
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
- Coordinate closely with kitchen management during service
About you
- Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience
- Experience managing a busy Front of House operation
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Experience supervising and training staff
- Good understanding of restaurant rostering and labour management
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy service periods
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
