An exciting prospect now exists for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Rundle Mall, Adelaide.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide warm, attentive and personalised service
- Help customers select from Ditters' range of nuts, dried fruit, glacé fruit, chocolate, cakes and gifts




- Process sales and payments, prepare and pack purchases accurately
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive, well-presented displays
- Keep the store clean, organised and beautifully presented at all times
- Follow food handling, hygiene and opening/closing procedures
- Keep management informed of stock levels, customer matters or anything requiring attention

Requirements

- Genuinely warm, reliable and professional with customers
- Comfortable working independently and using good judgement within clear procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a pride in presentation and orderliness
- Clear communicator who proactively flags anything needing management attention
- Experience in retail, hospitality, specialty food or a customer-facing environment (well regarded)
- Available to start November 2026 and throughout November and December
