Retail Manager – Community Pharmacy

TerryWhite Chemmart Albany Creek is looking for a Retail Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining people development, commercial performance, merchandising, planning and exceptional customer care .

Just as importantly, we believe good management requires time to actually manage.

Our Retail Manager will be visible and involved on the shop floor, but will also have dedicated time and support for planning, analysis, training, administration and the strategic work required to run a successful retail pharmacy.

About the role

Working collaboratively with our Store Manager and Dispensary Manager, you will help lead a retail team of approximately 10–12 people and have a genuine voice in the direction and development of the pharmacy.

Our leadership approach is collaborative. We want our managers to share ideas, learn from one another and work together to create a positive, unified team.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading, supporting and developing our retail team
- Building a positive and accountable team culture
- Monitoring retail KPIs, sales performance and category opportunities
- Category planning and development
- Implementing catalogues, promotions, planograms and merchandising
- Managing and maintaining our Electronic Shelf Label system
- Reviewing seasonal promotional activity and using results to continuously improve
- Supporting retail health promotions alongside our professional pharmacy services
- Developing staff knowledge and confidence around OTC products, campaigns and pharmacy programs




- Supporting stock control, ordering and inventory management
- Supplier, wholesaler and special-request ordering
- Supporting QSPP readiness and high operational standards
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and development of retail team members
- Building strong relationships with our customers and local community

We are particularly interested in someone who enjoys looking beyond today's task list and thinking about what we can do better tomorrow .

About you

Current community pharmacy retail management experience or TerryWhite Chemmart experience would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.

We would also genuinely encourage applications from experienced 2ICs, Assistant Managers and senior pharmacy team members who feel ready to step into a broader leadership position.

Experience with community pharmacy, Minfos, Yoobic, stock management, planograms, ordering or TerryWhite Chemmart retail programs would be advantageous.



You do not need to know everything on day one.

- Full-time – 38 hours per week

- No regular weekend work
