Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations and upholding Altea’s luxury brand standards. This role includes leading and coaching the store team, managing staff schedules, and ensuring an exceptional in-store experience for every customer. The manager will drive sales performance, monitor key metrics, and implement initiatives to meet revenue and profitability targets.

Daily tasks involve visual merchandising aligned with brand guidelines, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating with head office on new collections and promotional activities.



The role also requires handling customer inquiries and concerns, managing cash and transactional procedures, and ensuring compliance with retail loss prevention and operational policies.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Effective Communication skills for engaging customers, guiding team members, and collaborating with head office and suppliers.
- Proven Store Management experience, including staff supervision, scheduling, sales reporting, and inventory control in a retail setting.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with attention to detail in cash handling, stock security, and compliance with store policies.
- Experience in premium or luxury fashion retail and a genuine interest in menswear and Italian craftsmanship.
- Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends and peak trading periods, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for reporting and communication.
- Previous leadership experience and the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a diverse retail team.
