HANDS is a lifestyle design and gift store dedicated to curating the best of design from local and international makers, artists and independent brands.

Founded in 2022, we are a locally-owned and small retail store bringing forth a new concept store to Sydney for quality homewares, playful accessories and meaningful gifts.

We're now seeking a Sales Assistant (Casual/part-time) for both our Newtown and Paddington locations. The responsibilities include:

- Providing an excellent customer experience, helping to locate or obtain products based on customer needs and desires.
- Performing back-to-back services on our busiest days
- Opening and closing the store
- Housekeeping, cleaning and store presentation
- Assisting with stock and back of house tasks and visual merchandising

Requirements:

- Previous retail experience
- Exceptionally organised and an eye for detail
- Must have a qualified and "can-do" attitude and attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a passion for people.



Able to genuinely greet customers
- Available to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and available to cover some opening or closing shifts
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluent English
