About the role

Hervey Bay Auto Group Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales of our high-quality range of vehicles. This full time position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the automotive industry at the Biggest dealership on the Fraser Coast that now sells 14 different brands, including Hyundai, Ford, Suzuki, Chery, Subaru, LDV, Renault, Deepal, Foton and BYD and Used Cars.

What you'll be doing

- Actively engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalised solutions

- Demonstrate and showcase our range of vehicles to potential customers

- Effectively negotiate and close sales, meeting and exceeding sales targets

- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive offerings

- Collaborate with the wider sales team to contribute to the overall success of the business

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry





- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers

- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

- Familiarity with the local market and a good understanding of the automotive industry

- Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a commitment to achieving sales targets
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
