/n Senior Accountant /n Location: North Lakes, QLD /n The Client: /n Zylo has teamed up with a well established and now growing accounting firm. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team to be based in their North Lakes office. /n Responsibilities: /n /n

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations

/n

- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

/n

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

/n

- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff

/n

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting

/n

- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support

/n

- Ad-hoc tasks as required

/n /n Qualifications and Skills: /n /n

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

/n

- CPA or CA qualification preferred

/n

- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting

/n





- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

/n

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

/n

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)

/n

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

/n

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
