As demand for our platform continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Advice Technology & Implementation Consultant who understands financial advice from the inside and can become a trusted partner to the advisers, paraplanners and support teams who rely on RetireMap every day.

This is a senior role with significant autonomy, influence and scope. For the right person, it offers a clear pathway to becoming RetireMap's Head of Advice Technology & Implementation, helping shape how onboarding, implementation, training and advice technology adoption are delivered across the business.

This is an opportunity to stay close to the profession you know at a senior level, without the production treadmill, using your expertise to influence outcomes across hundreds of advice practices instead of a single client book.

You'll work alongside a small, highly experienced team where your judgement is trusted from day one, not earned over years.

The Role

You'll play a central role in helping advice practices get maximum value from RetireMap.

One day you might be supporting a paraplanner working through a complex modelling scenario.

The next, you could be delivering a presentation, onboarding a new practice, leading training sessions or collaborating with our team on future product enhancements.

You'll work directly with advisers, paraplanners, practice managers and support teams across Australia, helping them unlock the full potential of the platform.

You'll:

- Provide practical, timely support to advice practices
- Act as a trusted technology partner, helping practices use RetireMap to improve advice delivery, workflow efficiency and client outcomes
- Deliver engaging presentations, discovery sessions, onboarding programs and ongoing guidance to advisers, paraplanners and support teams
- Lead implementations for new practices, including complex or bespoke environments




- Work alongside users to solve real-world financial planning, retirement modelling and cashflow scenarios
- Develop support resources, training materials, documentation and scalable enablement systems
- Capture client feedback and translate it into product, process and client experience improvements
- Collaborate closely with our Head of Operations, MD and CTO to continually enhance the platform and client experience
- Contribute ideas that help shape our product roadmap, implementation methodology and future direction

About You

You may be an experienced paraplanner looking for broader qualified opportunities.

You may be a senior adviser ready to step away from the advice production cycle.

Or you may already hold a senior role in training, implementation, customer success or advice technology.

What matters most is that you understand financial advice, enjoy helping people and are excited by the role technology is playing in transforming our industry.

You'll Bring

- Experience as an adviser, paraplanner, practice manager or technology specialist within an Australian financial planning business
- A strong understanding of advice workflows, adviser requirements and the operational challenges faced by advice businesses




- Knowledge of financial planning, superannuation, investments and cashflow modelling
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex advice, modelling and workflow challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently
- Confidence facilitating demonstrations, online training sessions and client workshops
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and manage competing priorities
- A genuine curiosity about technology, AI and the future of financial advice
- A proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes, challenge conventional thinking and help practices get more value from technology

Experience with financial planning software, modelling tools, implementation projects or training delivery will be highly regarded.
