Senior Associate – Commercial Property | Sydney

I’m working with a leading international law firm looking to add an experienced Senior Associate to its Commercial Property practice in Sydney.

This is a senior appointment within the team and an chance for an established property lawyer to step into a role offering genuine responsibility, autonomy and visibility within the practice.

The successful lawyer will work closely with senior members of the team across a broad range of sophisticated commercial property matters, while taking greater ownership of transactions, client relationships and the development of more junior lawyers.

The opportunity

You’ll have the chance to:

- Work across high-quality and complex commercial property matters
- Take a leading role in transactions and manage matters with a high degree of autonomy
- Build strong, direct relationships with clients
- Work closely with senior lawyers across the Australian and broader international practice
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team
- Play an important role in the continued development of the Sydney practice




- Join an international platform while maintaining genuine responsibility at a local level

About you

This would suit a lawyer currently operating at Senior Associate or Managing SA level who has:

- Strong commercial property experience gained within a well-regarded private practice
- Experience taking ownership of transactions and managing matters from start to finish
- Confidence dealing directly with sophisticated clients and senior stakeholders
- The ability and appetite to supervise and develop junior lawyers
- A desire to take on greater responsibility and continue progressing within a leading practice
