We're partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit a Senior Associate for their growing Commercial Insurance practice in Canberra.

About the Role

You'll join a high-performing team with a solid portfolio of major insurers, self-insured organisations, and government clients. The work is varied, challenging, and includes:

- Public liability
- Historical abuse matters
- Commonwealth workers' compensation
- CTP claims

This is a fantastic prospect for an experienced Associate ready to step up, or an emerging Senior Associate wanting greater responsibility and exposure to complex litigation.

You'll have opportunities to appear in the ACT and NSW Courts, ACAT, and the Administrative Review Tribunal, working alongside highly regarded insurance litigators in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Flexible working options are available, including hybrid arrangements or part-time (minimum 3 days).

About You

We're looking for someone with:

- 5+ years' experience in insurance litigation (defendant preferred but plaintiff/in‑house considered)
- Experience across liability, CTP, or historical abuse claims
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and file management skills
- Confidence mentoring junior colleagues
- A collaborative, team focused approach
