Genus is a leading Australian infrastructure company delivering major projects across the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors. We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Lead to join our Perth team and lead the end to end bid and tender process across major business opportunities.

About The Role

Reporting to the Estimation Manager, you will lead cross functional teams to develop and execute bid strategies aligned with Genus’ business objectives and client requirements.

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing winning bid strategies, coordinating tender submissions and managing the commercial, technical and financial aspects of bids.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end to end bid process from opportunity identification through to proposal submission
- Develop and execute bid strategies aligned with client requirements and business objectives
- Lead and coordinate cross functional bid teams across technical, commercial, legal, finance and operational functions
- Manage bid budgets, resources, timelines and submission requirements
- Analyse client procurement documentation and identify key operational and commercial commitments
- Lead risk assessment and management for recent opportunities
- Coordinate bid clarifications, contractual departures and bid content




- Lead the sign off process across quality, technical, commercial and financial aspects of bids
- Manage client stakeholder relationships and participate in negotiations
- Maintain accurate bid documentation, pricing information and tender records
- Monitor bid performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Lead, mentor and develop the Bid Team to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget

About You

- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar senior bid or tendering role
- Demonstrated experience managing high performance teams
- Proven experience in successful proposal and bid management
- Strong understanding of the full bid lifecycle, proposal development and contract negotiation
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Excellent written, communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience in utilities, construction, resources, energy, commercial contract formation or tendering will be highly regarded.
