Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major government digital transformation environment. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of business analysis activities including business process analysis, process mapping and redesign, requirements elicitation, requirements engineering and documentation.

Working with a considerable degree of independence, you will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including business and policy stakeholders, service designers, architects, developers, engineers, testers, change and communications professionals.

You will also be responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and may represent the organization in cross-agency and other external forums.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business analysis activities across complex ICT initiatives.
- Undertake business process analysis, process mapping and process redesign.
- Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and requirements engineering.
- Develop and manage functional and non-functional requirements.




- Ensure solutions appropriately consider legislation, regulation and policy requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations and showcases with business and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with service design, architecture, engineering/development and testing teams.
- Manage multiple senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Prioritise competing and urgent requirements while maintaining high-quality delivery.
- Work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 8 years' experience as an ICT Business Analyst.
- Strong experience working collaboratively across multiple projects and business areas.
- Previous experience working within government or delivering services to a government agency.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple business stakeholders.
- Robust requirements elicitation, process analysis, documentation, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Desirable Experience with identity policy, identity access management, identity lifecycle management, digital identity, identity proofing, authentication, and/or authorization will be highly regarded.
