Senior Civil Designer | Brisbane A growing engineering consultancy with offices across Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join its Brisbane team, reporting to the QLD Manager.
This role offers genuine ownership of project delivery, working across the full design lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing the delivery of all design aspects of the project on time and to standard, developing detailed designs and documentation in 12D and AutoCAD, and acting as the key point of liaison with clients and stakeholders throughout. A sound understanding of safety in design practices and processes is essential.
Candidate requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 7 to 10 years' industry experience
- Drainage experience (desirable)
- Proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills, particularly report writing
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent knowledge of the Queensland market, Australian Standards and Council design standards
- Sound understanding of Service Authority design approval and construction standards
