Face by SM is seeking an experienced Senior Dermal Therapist to join our established team at our luxury clinic in Paddington.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced therapist who is passionate about skin health, advanced aesthetics and delivering exceptional results.

We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, has a strong understanding of skin science and treatment planning, and is skilled in building and retaining a loyal clientele through exceptional results, personalised treatment programs and ongoing client care.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Dermal Therapist at Face by SM, you will perform a comprehensive range of advanced skin, laser and energy-based treatments using some of the industry’s leading technologies.

Treatments within the clinic include:

- Morpheus8 RF microneedling and skin tightening
- CO2 laser skin resurfacing
- Ultraformer HIFU skin tightening
- Skin needling and advanced microneedling treatments
- Advanced laser and energy-based treatments
- Chemical peels and advanced facial treatments
- DMK Enzyme Therapy and advanced skin treatments

A key part of this role is confidently managing the entire client journey — from initial consultation and skin assessment through to creating long-term in-clinic treatment programs, appropriate homecare plans and ongoing treatment reviews.

You will also work closely with our cosmetic nurse injectors, collaborating on client treatment planning where appropriate to create a cohesive approach between advanced skin treatments and injectable services.

You should be confident communicating with our nursing team, referring clients internally where appropriate and contributing to integrated treatment programs designed around each client’s individual concerns, goals and overall treatment journey.

You will be expected to build strong relationships with clients, encourage retention and confidently grow your clientele through exceptional service, education and treatment outcomes.

ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the dermal, skin, beauty or aesthetics industry — essential
- Extensive experience performing advanced skin and dermal treatments
- Strong experience and confidence working with laser and energy-based devices
- Experience with RF microneedling, skin tightening and skin needling




- Experience performing chemical peels and advanced facial treatments
- Strong knowledge of skin science, skin conditions, contraindications and treatment planning
- Proven ability and confidence in building and retaining a loyal clientele
- Ability to create personalised, ongoing in-clinic treatment programs based on individual skin concerns and goals
- Confidence prescribing and recommending appropriate homecare regimes to complement in-clinic treatments and maximise client results
- Ability to collaborate closely with cosmetic nurse injectors to create cohesive treatment journeys incorporating skin and injectable treatments where appropriate
- Confidence with internal referrals and working collaboratively across the clinic
- Exceptional consultation, communication and client-care skills
- Confidence recommending treatment plans, packages and homecare products
- Strong retail and sales skills with a consultative, client-focused approach
- A genuine team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
- Ability to work confidently both independently and within a team
- Flexible with working hours to support clinic and client needs
- Availability to work Saturdays
- Professional, polished and well presented

QUALIFICATIONS & ADVANCED TRAINING

While not all of the following are essential, relevant qualifications and additional advanced training will be highly regarded, including:

- Recognised Beauty Therapy and/or Dermal Therapy qualifications, including certificates, diplomas or equivalent
- Laser and/or IPL qualifications and certifications
- Advanced laser and device-based treatment training
- RF microneedling and advanced skin-needling certification/training
- HIFU and skin-tightening training
- Training or demonstrated experience with Morpheus8
- Training or demonstrated experience with CO2 laser resurfacing
- Training or demonstrated experience with Ultraformer HIFU
- Chemical peel and advanced facial treatment training
- DMK Enzyme Therapy certification and/or DMK product knowledge — highly desirable but not essential
- Any additional relevant qualifications or certifications within beauty, dermal therapy, skin health,



laser or advanced aesthetics will be viewed favourably
