We are working with a well established national law firm seeking an experienced Float Legal Secretary to join its Melbourne office. Rather than supporting one fixed team, you’ll work across a range of practice groups, providing coverage where needed and getting exposure to different lawyers, Partners and areas of law. It’s an ideal role for someone adaptable, confident and comfortable stepping into a busy desk. The role Your responsibilities will include: Diary and inbox management Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence Managing briefs, files and electronic filing Billing and general administrative support Coordinating meetings and appointments Providing leave and overflow coverage across different practice groups Working closely with lawyers, Partners and other support staff About you You’ll ideally have previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant within a law firm and be someone who enjoys variety. You’ll be organised, adaptable and confident working with different teams and working styles, with strong document and Microsoft Office skills. Why consider it?
