Job Description This is a predominantly chairside Dental Assistant role, with occasional reception support when required. Reception experience is not essential, as training can be provided. Working closely with our dentists, hygienist, Practice Manager and front office team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient care and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. What your days look like: You'll provide chairside support across a range of general, restorative and implant procedures while creating a positive experience for patients. As we welcome a third dentist to the practice, you'll play an important role in supporting our growing team. We offer versatile working arrangements, including the option of a 9-day fortnight with every second Thursday off . Availability for the following roster is required: Monday: 8:45am - 5:30pm Tuesday:
9:45am - 7:30pm Wednesday: 8:15am - 4:30pm Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm (or every second Thursday off) Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm Your responsibilities will include: Providing chairside assistance and exceptional patient care Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in line with infection control standards Welcoming patients and managing check-in and check-out processes Scheduling appointments and recalls and managing phone enquiries Processing payments, HICAPS claims and health fund enquiries Maintaining accurate patient records and billing information Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
