We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations in one of our partner hotels in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to lead large teams, maintain high standards, and drive operational performance. Working closely with hotel management and the Silk Hospitality leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences through outstanding housekeeping operations. About the Role As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the overall management of the housekeeping department, leading a large team across room attendants, housepersons, public area attendants, and supervisors. You will ensure quality standards are consistently achieved while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and team engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department Drive room cleanliness, presentation, and public area standards Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members and supervisors Monitor productivity, labour costs, and operational performance Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and brand standards are maintained Build strong relationships with hotel management and key stakeholders Manage rostering, staffing levels,



and workforce planning Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements About You Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, or senior housekeeping leader Experience managing large teams within busy hotel environments Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational setting Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Results-driven with a focus on productivity, service delivery, and team development Why Join Silk Hospitality?
