Job Title - Project Support Officer- Integration Delivery Team Job Id 1255158 Security Clearance: NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 2 months The role closes on 06/10/2026 Location: ACT About the Role: The Project Support Officer role is within the Defence Delivery Group (DDG, formerly CASG) working in Land C4 integration SPO (LC4I SPO) in LC4S branch. LC4I SPO is seeking a Project Support Officer to support the LC4I SPO Integration Delivery Team (IDT) to plan, manage and deliver work packages for the LAND 4140 Land C4 Modernisation project. The Project Support Officer will be responsible for a range of tasks required to support the day-to-day operations of the project team and contribute to achieving overall project objectives. Defence experience would be highly regarded. The Project Support Officer role will assist with project planning, governance, and implementation to achieve project outcomes. An understanding of the Defence Capability System would be beneficial, as well as the ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met. The LAND4140 Integration Delivery Team Project Support Officer is responsible for: Providing support as required to the L4140 Integration Delivery Team Project Director (PD) and Deputy Project Director (DPD). Supporting Project Managers to assist with the management, governance and delivery of work packages. Supporting Project Managers with financial administration (e.g. raising and maintaining purchase orders, processing goods and services received, processing invoices). Contributing to project reporting processes as required. Prepare project correspondence, briefs and reports. Supporting preparation and maintenance of project documentation as required. Maintaining records within the corporate record keeping system. Organising, participating in, and recording outcomes of project meetings as required. Managing project correspondence including maintenance of the Correspondence Register and oversight and coordination of a group mailbox (if required). Working collaboratively, developing and maintaining beneficial,



effective relationships with the customer, colleagues and other stakeholders. Developing and/or following processes and maintaining registers to record, monitor and track: Communications between parties. Procurement information. Financial information. Material provided by one party to the other. Variations and change proposals. Other important or necessary information in relation to the operation of the project. Undertake additional work as required to support the outcomes of the Project. Essential job criteria: A high level of competence and experience in using Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work collaboratively with other Project team members and stakeholders, including below the line contactors and other Defence agencies. Managing work tasks that align with the project's strategic objectives and communicate expected outcomes. Experience/Skills sought: Services are to be provided commensurate with relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements. Service providers are to employ industry best practice when undertaking the Services. Experience working in a high performing project team managing and contributing to project outcomes. Experience in building trusted and valued relationships with project team members, customers and partners. Experience in drafting and preparing briefs, complex correspondence and reports including submissions for committee consideration. Essential qualification and experience requirements: The requirements of this position are considered fundamental to the Project Management Services & Support Manager position(s): Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience, and current and relevant project management experience. The following requirements are desirable: Experience raising purchase orders,



good receiving and processing invoices within the Defence ERP system. Recognised project management skilled qualification (e.g. Australian Institute of Project Managers (AIPM)); and Understanding of the content of Project. Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and its application the Defence project management environment and Project Management Methodology (PMMv2). Other requirements: The Contractor shall have the ability to communicate with a range of commercial, engineering and technical stakeholders. The Contractor must submit proof of valid security clearance for the nominated personnel. The Contractor shall have experience in writing documentation conforming to Defence writing standards. The Contractor shall have a high level of competence and experience in using Microsoft Office applications. SFIA Skills Sought: The provision of support and guidance on portfolio, programme and project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques. Support includes definition of portfolios, programmes, and projects; advice on the development, production and maintenance of business cases; time, resource, cost and exception plans, and the use of related software tools. Tracking and reporting of programme/project progress and performance are also covered, as is the capability to facilitate all aspects of portfolio/ programme/ project meetings, workshops and documentation. PROF Level 3: Uses recommended portfolio, programme and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking. Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports. Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
