The Role
- Underwrite Financial Lines, Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers and Management Liability
- Develop and implement marketing plan
- Develop and build broker relationships
- Ensure excellent services standards including quality of underwriting and timely response which meet or exceed company standards
- Continually seek ways to improve organizational efficiency, effectiveness and profitability
- Participate in relevant skilled organizations as a representative of the company
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management team
- In conjunction with the State Manager, ensure that budget goals are met in terms of revenue and expenses
- In conjunction with the State Manager, participate in goal setting, planning and executive decision-making
- Mentoring of Underwriters and Business Support Officers
- Market and encourage brokers to use our on-line solutions (SCTP and BindIT)
- Actively participate in Innovation projects
