Your new role

As the Senior ICT and Digital Performance Tester, you will establish and operate performance engineering, automation and API testing capabilities. You will provide specialist expertise across performance, scalability, resilience and non-functional testing while developing enterprise frameworks, standards and reusable testing assets.

Your responsibilities will include

- Developing and maintaining performance engineering strategies, frameworks, standards and governance processes
- Designing, executing and reporting on performance, load, stress, scalability and resilience testing
- Developing automated testing frameworks and reusable assets for web, API, integration and regression testing
- Identifying performance bottlenecks, non-functional risks and quality issues
- Collaborating with project, infrastructure and development teams to recommend practical solutions
- Supporting the implementation of testing tools, standards and automation best practices
- Mentoring internal teams and supporting knowledge transfer and capability uplift





What you'll need to succeed

- Demonstrated experience in performance engineering, non-functional testing and performance testing strategy development
- Experience with enterprise performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling or equivalent
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks across web, API and integration environments
- Experience with automation tools such as Tosca, Playwright, Selenium or equivalent
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile delivery, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- The ability to analyse application, infrastructure and database performance issues and recommend practical solutions

To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen, pass a Police Check and be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
