I’m partnering with a highly regarded national law firm looking to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate lawyer to its growing General Insurance team in Melbourne.

This is a solid opportunity for an insurance lawyer looking for sophisticated work across property damage, coverage and indemnity disputes , with the opportunity to manage your own matters while working alongside experienced insurance partners.

The opportunity

- Complex large-loss property damage and subrogated recovery matters
- Property damage liability defence litigation
- Insurance policy coverage and indemnity disputes
- Exposure to complex litigation, including mass tort and class action matters
- Manage matters end-to-end, including evidence, counsel, experts, mediations and Court proceedings
- Direct engagement with major Australian and international insurers

About you

- 3+ years PAE with insurance litigation experience




- Experience managing litigation matters through the Courts
- Strong drafting, advisory and client management skills
- Coverage and indemnity experience highly regarded
- Property damage, recovery or liability experience advantageous
- Associate and Senior Associate level candidates encouraged to apply
