An excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Counsel to join a well-established organisation supporting a significant infrastructure project. This is an initial 12-month, part-time contract with the potential for extension, offering a broad mix of commercial, property, construction and major projects work.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced legal team and closely with key stakeholders, you’ll provide practical legal advice across both the major project and broader day-to-day business activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including goods and services agreements, licences, confidentiality agreements and deeds
- Advising across construction and major infrastructure projects, including project delivery contracts, framework agreements, alliances and PPP arrangements
- Advising on procurement, governance, regulatory and compliance matters




- Providing general commercial and project-related legal advice as issues arise

About You

- You’ll be an experienced Legal Counsel with a strong background in commercial contracts, projects, construction, infrastructure and/or property.
- You’ll be comfortable managing a wide-ranging workload and providing clear, pragmatic advice to both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
- Experience working across major infrastructure or complex project environments will be highly regarded, as will exposure to government, regulatory or public sector matters.
