Continuum Labs is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer.
Continuum operates analytical infrastructure and decison making tools for ASX and NZX listed equities. The platform is in production and used by institutional clients ahead of each trading day.
This role owns the reliability of that platform. The daily analytical pipeline. Kubernetes on AWS, Python, PostgreSQL and a Next.js front end. Monitoring, security, recovery and release discipline.
We are looking for an engineer with a long record in production systems. Someone who has carried operational responsibility for platforms that clients relied on, and has seen several generations of technology come and go. Breadth matters more than specialisation. The role spans infrastructure, data and application layers.
The position is part time,
two to three days a week, on a competitive day rate. It suits an experienced practitioner who wants hands-on responsibility without a full-time commitment.
The role is based in Melbourne, with flexibility for candidates elsewhere in Australia who work Australian business hours.
