About the Role
As an Acute Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient care across a range of public and private hospital settings throughout Townsville.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing protected, evidence-based nursing care
• Working across acute medical and surgical wards
• Conducting patient assessments and monitoring clinical conditions
• Administering medications within scope of practice
• Supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Completing accurate clinical documentation
• Maintaining exceptional patient care standards
• Working flexible shifts that fit your schedule
Requirements
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
• Minimum 12 months recent acute hospital experience
• Recent Medical and/or Surgical Ward experience
• Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Availability for a variety of shift types
• Full Australian working rights
