About the role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead and manage our store located in Nundah QLD 4012. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales performance, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic management of the store, staff development, and achieving business objectives whilst creating a welcoming environment for both customers and team members.

What you'll be doing

- Leading and motivating a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets

- Managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and maintaining store standards

- Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share within the local area

- Training, coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance

- Managing inventory levels, ordering stock, and ensuring effective merchandising and product displays

- Monitoring financial performance, budgets, and profitability of the store

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business

- Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements

- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing operational enhancements





- Reporting on store performance metrics and providing regular updates to senior management

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar retail management role, preferably in the furniture or bedding industry

- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and drive business growth

- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction

- Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and financial management

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions whilst adhering to company guidelines

- Proficiency with retail management systems and point-of-sale technology

- Flexible approach to working hours, including potential weekend and evening shifts

- A passion for the retail industry and delivering quality customer experiences
