About Us

Nationwide Crane Hire is a family-owned and operated crane hire and lifting company with more than 25 years of industry experience.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, we’re a busy and growing business supporting projects across construction, civil, infrastructure and heavy industry.

We’re looking for an experienced and organised Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer to join our team and help keep the financial side of our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

About the Role

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position and a hands-on accounts role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, keeping on top of the details and getting things done.

While this is a full-time role, we can offer some flexibility around working hours for the right person.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our accounts payable and receivable functions, working closely with our Accounts team, management and operations team.

We're in the crane industry, so things can move pretty quickly around here. We're looking for someone who can stay organised, take ownership of their work and isn't afraid to pick up the phone and sort something out when needed.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

- Processing supplier invoices and accounts payable

- Preparing and issuing customer invoices

- Managing accounts receivable and monitoring outstanding payments

- Following up overdue customer accounts

- Processing supplier payments and maintaining accurate payment records

- Matching invoices and cross checking against purchase orders, dockets and supporting documentation

- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies

- Maintaining accurate financial records in MYOB

- Assisting with end-of-month accounts and reporting

- Working within our job management system, ServiceM8 and Deputy

- Liaising with customers, suppliers and our operations team regarding account queries





- General accounts administration and data entry

- Providing support to the Accounts team and management when required

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Accounts Officer role

- MYOB experience – essential

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organisation and time-management skills

- Confidence professionally following up outstanding accounts

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Ability to work independently while still being part of a team

- A practical attitude and willingness to jump in and help when needed

- Experience with ServiceM8 and Deputy would be an advantage, but isn't essential

Experience within crane hire, construction, transport, heavy equipment or a similar industry would be highly regarded.
