Synergie Australia is seeking a reliable Waste Sorter / Bin Runner to join a recycling facility in Melbourne CBD. This is a hands-on role with the prospect to become permanent for the right person.
What’s on offer
- $38.44 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 5:30am – 1:30pm
- Melbourne CBD location
- Potential weekend overtime
The role
- Collect and move recycling bins and materials
- Manually sort recycling into the correct waste streams
- Operate basic recycling equipment such as balers
- Assist with bins and compactors as required
- General cleaning and housekeeping of the facility
About you
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and attendance
- Able to consistently start at 5:30am
- Current driver’s licence and able to wear required PPE, including hi-vis and steel-capped boots
- Waste/recycling experience or forklift licence advantageous, but not essential
