Advanced Hair Studio is looking for a qualified Hair Stylist to join our Launceston team, with the opportunity to develop specialised skills in non-surgical hair replacement and hair restoration.

This is an opportunity to step outside the traditional salon environment, work closely with clients over the long term, and develop expertise in a specialised and rewarding area of the hair industry.

No previous hair restoration experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support — we are looking for someone with the right attitude, a genuine passion for their clients and a willingness to learn.

For over 50 years, Advanced Hair Studio has specialised in solutions for men and women experiencing hair loss. Our approach combines hairdressing expertise with specialised non-surgical hair replacement solutions and personalised client care.

Our stylists play an important role in helping clients look and feel their best, while building trusted, long-term relationships.

What's on offer?

- $30–$33 per hour + generous commission structure

- Part-time flexibility – 2–3 days per week, approximately 10–15 hours per week. The roster can be discussed and finalised with the right candidate.

About you

We are looking for a stylist who is:

- Certificate III qualified in Hairdressing

- Ideally has 1–2 years' salon experience with male haircuts (recent graduates are welcome to apply).

- Confident with cutting and styling

- Passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences

- A strong communicator with excellent consultation skills

- Naturally personable and able to build trust and long-term client relationships

- Qualified, reliable and respectful of client confidentiality

- Career-focused and eager to learn new skills

- Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team
