Australian Staffing Agency (ASA) provides temporary and permanent recruitment and staffing solutions to businesses Australia-wide across the Light Industrial and Commercial sectors, including Transport & Logistics, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Food Production, Call Centres, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and Administration.
We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse Storeworkers and Pick Packers to join our clients across Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.
These roles are ideal for candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a rapid-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
Shifts & Pay Rates
- Shifts: Day and Afternoon
- Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work
- Pay Rates: $33.80 - $37.05 per hour
- Immediate starts available
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and labelling orders accurately for dispatch
- RF scanning and stock tracking
- Organising and maintaining warehouse stock
- Assisting with stocktakes, inventory counts and stock rotation
- Operating pallet jacks, tuggers and other warehouse equipment
- Operating Low-Level Order Pickers (LLOPs) where required
- Loading, unloading and general warehouse duties
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Meeting daily KPIs and operational deadlines
- Following all site safety procedures and warehouse processes
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, pick packing or storeperson experience
- Minimum 3 months' RF scanning experience
- Experience with warehouse management systems and automated environments is highly regarded
- Experience operating LLOPs, electric pallet jacks and tuggers is preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling and lift up to 19 kg
- Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and ability to commit to ongoing shifts
- Positive attitude and strong team focus
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
- Must have full Australian working rights
