We require a Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 4 years' experience within the meat/food for human consumption industry. You will carry out preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment on a production line, and perform fault finding, installation and decommissioning of electrical equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment on a production line
- Fault finding, installation and decommissioning of electrical equipment
- Trace, diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Plan and connect food processing machinery to power supply
- Install, test and maintain mechanical and electrical machinery
- Understand and implement wiring diagrams and plans
About you
- A-Grade Electrical Licence (Western Australian)
- Minimum 4 years' experience within the meat/food for human consumption industry
- Experience with food processing equipment (essential)
- Driver's Licence
- Clean police record
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Working at Heights certification
- In depth understanding of OH&S; regulations
- Robust communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Physically fit and able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol test
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in Narrogin
