At Lives Lived Well, we believe recovery is possible, and that lived experience is one of the most powerful tools for building hope, connection and change. We're seeking a Peer Navigator to join our Logan House Residential and Logan Family Recovery Rehabilitation Service, supporting people on their alcohol and other drug recovery journey.

As part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, the Peer Navigator works from an relational framework to foster hope and resilience, and empower people to achieve their recovery goals.

Our Logan House team is enthusiastic, respectful and genuinely committed to helping people create positive change. Supported by a collaborative and approachable manager, we value open communication, teamwork and a client-centred approach in everything we do.

About Logan House

Logan House provides a safe, supportive and structured residential environment designed to help individuals overcome alcohol and other drug challenges.

Our comprehensive six-week treatment program accommodates up to 30 clients at any given time, providing a complete continuum of care from initial engagement through to reintegration into the community. We aim to inspire genuine, long-lasting change and equip clients with the tools, skills and confidence needed to successfully navigate recovery and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

About the Role

As a Peer Navigator, you'll provide authentic,



recovery-focused support by drawing on your own lived experience in a safe, purposeful and professional manner.

In this role, you will:

- Provide one-on-one peer support.
- Build genuine, trusting relationships with clients.
- Support people to identify strengths and work towards recovery goals.
- Share lived experience to promote hope, resilience and recovery.
- Assist with the delivery of group programs and activities.
- Advocate for clients and ensure their voices are heard.
- Support engagement with treatment services, recovery supports and community connections.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and residential team members.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and recovery-oriented service environment.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Lived experience of challenges related to alcohol and other drugs, service use and a period of recovery.
- The ability to share your lived experience appropriately and professionally.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, respectful and non-judgemental approach.
- The ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Strong personal boundaries and self-awareness.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
- The ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check and Blue Card.

Highly Regarded

- Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health or a related qualification.




- Previous experience in peer work, community services, mental health or support roles.
- Experience facilitating groups.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care.
- Experience working within the alcohol and other drug sector.
