Registered Nurse – Aged Care

Wenonah Lodge is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to join our residential aged care team in Gulgong.

This position is offered as permanent part-time, with hours and roster to be discussed with the successful applicant. Casual employment may also be considered for the right person, with casual loading applied in accordance with the Wenonah Lodge Enterprise Agreement.

Wenonah Lodge is a small, community-focused aged care home where residents are known personally and staff are valued as part of a close and supportive team. This role would suit an RN who enjoys aged care, clinical leadership, teamwork and providing person-centred care in a rural community setting.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse at Wenonah Lodge, you will:

- provide safe, high-quality clinical care to residents

- lead and support care staff on shift

- complete assessments, care planning and clinical documentation

- contribute to medication management, wound care, palliative care and dementia support

- communicate with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals and the wider care team

- support a positive, respectful and homelike setting for residents.

What we are looking for

The successful applicant will have:

- current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- current Australian work rights

- aged care experience or a genuine interest in working in aged care

- sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills





- confidence leading a shift and supporting care staff

- strong communication and documentation skills

- a kind, practical and resident-focused approach.

- RN Level 1 hourly rate of $46.79 – $57.79 per hour, depending on pay point, experience and classification
