We are seeking two experienced video producers to join our fast-paced Sydney newsroom. The ideal candidates will bring a strong background in TV news with the ability to translate that experience into sharp, visually compelling content for digital platforms. We're looking for people who thrive in a newsroom setting, have excellent editing skills, and are confident taking a story from pitch to publish under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shoot and edit high-quality video packages, including interviews, VO/sots, documentaries and visual explainers, optimised for digital distribution (YouTube, social media, and web)
- Work alongside reporters and the senior leadership team to develop visual storytelling that complements breaking news and original reporting
- Source file vision, overlay, and relevant b-roll from agencies, archives, and verified online sources,
with attention to copyright and licensing
- Pitch news-driven and original video story ideas aligned with the Daily Mail audience
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in TV or digital newsrooms producing daily video content under tight deadlines
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, or other industry-standard editing and graphics software
- Skilled with camera and lighting equipment, both in studio and on-location shoots
- Strong understanding of visual news storytelling, scripting, and basic field production
- Experience crafting content for digital platforms with a clear understanding of engagement and optimisation techniques
- Knowledge of media law, copyright clearance, and ethical newsgathering practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a dynamic editorial team
- Flexible with shifts, including weekend and evening work
