C.D. Dodd is the leading provider of demolition, resource recovery and scrap metal recycling services to commercial, industrial and resource customers across Western Australia.

We are seeking a self-motivated Weighbridge Operator to join our team at our processing yard in Forrestfield, Perth. Working hours are Monday-Friday 6:00am – 16.00pm with occasional weekend work if required.

Key Duties:

- Recording weight data and relevant vehicle and load information into the weighbridge system and documentation

- Issue weight dockets and necessary documentation to drivers in a timely and qualified manner

- Assist customers with their enquiries and ensure customers receive the highest service standard possible

- Undertake day-to-day administration duties such as data entry and docket processing

- Produce reports from the weighbridge software as required

- Maintain the weighbridge and general area of the weighbridge including the office in a clean, tidy and hazard free condition

- Assist and support the Weighbridge Office Coordinator with any tasks required

Key Skills:

- An ability to multi task and at times work under pressure to meet customer requirements





- Must have high skills in attention to detail for accuracy with data entry

- Committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels- written, phone and face to face

- Seeking a highly organised individual who can effectively manage the demands of a busy role, while bringing a positive, bubbly attitude to the team.

- Confident personality to help build an understanding with both clients and drivers

- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with sound computer literacy

- A proven ability to work within a small team environment that work closely together

- Relevant weighbridge and scrap industry experience preferred but not essential, customer service essential. Hands on training will be provided to the successful candidate

- Great can-do attitude with strong work ethic
