Are you an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in road transport and truck maintenance? We have an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team on Barrow Island, supporting a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment in a unique operational environment.

About the Role

Working on a 2/2 FIFO roster, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a fleet of road transport vehicles to ensure protected and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults
- Conduct breakdown repairs and troubleshooting
- Complete inspection reports and maintenance documentation
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment care

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong experience working on road transport vehicles and trucks
- Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote FIFO environment
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Current HR drivers licence

Highly Desirable

- Experience working on Volvo trucks & Isuzu trucks
- Experience with fleet maintenance in mining, logistics or transport operations




- Exposure to remote site or FIFO environments
