We're seeking a Finance Officer to join our Aged Care Finance team and play a critical role in managing resident billing, accommodation payments, reconciliations and financial administration that helps keep our services running smoothly.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager - Aged Care, you will be responsible for a range of financial administration activities supporting our residential aged care services. This role requires solid attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional service to residents, families and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end resident billing and direct debit processing
- Management of resident accommodation payments including RADs, bonds, refunds and DAP billing
- Monthly reconciliations and financial reporting support
- Maintaining accurate resident financial records, admissions and departures
- Managing the Aged Care Finance inbox and responding to enquiries
- Processing accounting transactions accurately and within required timeframes
- Supporting compliance with government funding and accommodation payment requirements
- Providing administrative support including invoicing, receipting and data entry activities

About you?

To be successful in this role, you will bring:





- Experience in a finance, accounts receivable or financial administration role
- Certificate IV in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Strong computer skills with experience using finance systems, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Solid communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously while managing competing deadlines
- A commitment to confidentiality, compliance and continuous improvement
