Senior Project Engineer – Renewables | Regional NSW | Rostered | Contract | Strong Hourly Rate + Super + Accommodation & Meals

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a major EPC delivering a large-scale solar/BESS project in regional NSW.
This is a site-based role working for the EPC/main contractor, with responsibility for overseeing civil and mechanical works across the project.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate civil and mechanical construction activities across site.
- Provide technical engineering support to site teams and subcontractors.
- Manage subcontractor performance, construction methodology and work fronts.
- Review drawings, specifications, ITPs and technical documentation.
- Coordinate RFIs, technical queries and design changes.
- Monitor progress against programme and assist with project planning.
- Conduct inspections and ensure works meet project specifications and quality requirements.
- Work closely with HSE and quality teams to ensure construction activities are delivered safely and compliantly.




- Support resolution of technical and construction issues.

About You

- Degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer on major construction projects.
- Strong experience across civil and/or mechanical construction works.
- Solar, BESS or broader renewable energy experience highly preferred.
- Experience working for an EPC/main contractor highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, engineering documentation and project delivery.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and working within large project teams.
- Comfortable working on a remote, rostered project.
