About the opportunity:
You will join an established and collaborative Languages faculty and teach French across the Secondary years, including Stage 6.

The successful teacher will bring a strong academic background and a genuine passion for language education, with the ability to create engaging, authentic and meaningful learning experiences for students.

You will be responsible for:

- Teaching French across Years 7–12
- Delivering Stage 6 French and preparing students for senior secondary study
- Developing engaging and differentiated lessons that challenge and inspire students
- Using contemporary teaching practices and technology to enhance learning
- Incorporating French culture and authentic language experiences into the classroom
- Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback
- Working collaboratively within a high-performing Languages faculty




- Contributing to the wider school community and co-curricular opportunities

About you:

You are an experienced French educator who is passionate about your subject and takes pride in creating a classroom where students genuinely enjoy learning.
You will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and/or French
- Current NESA accreditation
- Demonstrated experience teaching French in a secondary school environment
- Successful experience teaching Stage 6 French
- Strong knowledge of the NSW K–10 Modern Languages syllabus and NESA Stage 6 French syllabus
- Fluency in French
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to differentiate learning for students with varying abilities
- A collaborative, professional and collegial approach
- A genuine interest in French language, culture and international education
