You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by converting warm and cold leads, identifying new business opportunities, engaging decision-makers and building lasting customer relationships. With a focus on WHS contractor and risk management solutions, you'll generate new business opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, and demonstrate the value our platform can deliver to organisations.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with the Cm3 office located in Melbourne.
Tasks of the role:
- Drive new business growth through proactive cold prospecting, follow-up of warm leads, and effective qualification of opportunities within defined target markets.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline across key industries and market verticals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proactively engage prospective customers, building trusted relationships through virtual outreach and consultative conversations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records to support reporting, pipeline management, and business planning.
- Execute activities aligned with the Cm3 growth strategy and monitor progress against objectives.
- Conduct client meetings, discovery sessions, and product demonstrations to showcase the value of the Cm3 solution.
- Support the delivery of local marketing initiatives, industry events, and technical campaigns to drive engagement and generate opportunities.
Some of the skills required:
- 5+ years’ experience in a BDM or Sales role within a SaaS environment
- Proactive and ambitious mindset to build upon existing presence
- Competency and comfort with cold calling and generating new business
- Experience with CRM tools (eg Pipedrive, SalesForce)
- Ability to foster meaningful relationships with customers at all levels
- A forward-thinking mindset to develop solution-oriented outcomes for customers
- High level written and verbal communication
- Understanding of WHS/Risk Management principles, and familiar with Contractor Management processes
- Experience with responding to tenders advantageous
