We’re seeking a dedicated, detail-focused Paralegal to join our firm and provide support across a variety of legal matters.
This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys working across different areas of legal practice, taking responsibility for their work and being part of a supportive, close-knit team. While experience in residential or commercial conveyancing is preferred, it is not essential, as training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening files and completing data entry
- Maintaining accurate records and monitoring critical dates and deadlines
- Preparing correspondence
- Conducting searches and assisting with preparation of legal documentation
- Assisting lawyers with a variety of legal matters
- Using electronic legal platforms and systems, including Supreme Court Online Services Portal, PEXA, QRO and Titles Queensland where required
- Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and firm procedures
- Providing general paralegal and administrative support as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous paralegal or legal support experience preferred
- Experience in conveyancing is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication, organisational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
- Solid computer and administrative skills
- Experience with LEAP Legal Software is an advantage, but not essential
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach to your work
- Willingness to learn and develop across different areas of legal practice
