About the Team
The Study Plan Management team sits within the Student Administration Unit in the Division of Education and Students. The team supports a range of student administrative functions and manages complex student study plan enquiries, working closely with faculties, academic staff and other stakeholders across the university.
Study Plan Management is comprised of the following portfolio areas including four portfolio teams*:
- Course Completion and Transitions *
- Course Transfers and Subject Assessments *
- Online Program Management
- Recognition of Prior Learning *
- Special Consideration and Study Leave *
Job purpose
The Officer, Study Plan Management provides administrative support and services across a range of student-related functions, enquiries and processes. The role supports eRequests, applies policy and procedure, processes requests in core systems and contributes to the delivery of customer service and operational standards.
There is 1x continuing position available and 1x parental leave 12month contract. Please indicate if you have a preference in your cover letter.
Role responsibilities
- Provide timely responses to eRequests and online enquiries.
- Process and update student records accurately and in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Respond to enquiries, troubleshoot issues and escalate matters where required.
- Apply policy, rules and operational procedures to support decision making and service delivery.
- Communicate with students,
academic staff and other stakeholders to provide information and support.
- Contribute to process documentation, work instructions and knowledge sharing activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of updated processes and procedures.

1. Solid problem-solving skills and initiative in improving work practices.
2. Ability to interpret and apply university rules, policies and procedures across the student lifecycle.
3. Experience delivering customer service in a complex administrative environment.

What We Offer
Base Salary Range: HEW 5 $96,300.00 - $110,198.00 plus 17% Superannuation (pension).
There is 1x continuing position available and 1x parental leave 12month contract. Please indicate if you have a preference in your cover letter.
