D&J;'s Civil Construction is a respected and growing civil construction company delivering high-quality civil infrastructure and subdivision projects across South East Queensland.

With a strong pipeline of work across Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas, we are looking for a Civil Engineer with some industry experience to join our team.

The Role

Working closely with our Project Managers, Construction Managers and site crews, you will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of civil construction and subdivision projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the planning and delivery of civil construction projects

- Working closely with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and site crews

- Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and project documentation

- Assisting with QA, ITPs, inspections and NCRs

- Preparing and maintaining daily diaries and site records

- Assisting with project cost tracking and progress claims

- Quantities, take-offs and material ordering

- Monitoring project progress, quality and compliance

- Coordinating deliveries, subcontractors and site activities

- Attending site meetings and toolbox meetings

- Assisting with variations, RFIs and general project administration





- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who has some experience in civil construction and is keen to continue building their career in the industry.

You will ideally have:

- A Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification

- 2+ years' experience in civil construction or a similar role

- Experience working on active construction sites

- Good understanding of civil construction practices

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Good attention to detail

- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved on site

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Australian working rights

- Current Driver's Licence

- White Card

Experience in subdivisions, bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer, watermain or general civil infrastructure will be highly regarded.
