We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Boiler Operator to join our team in Katanning, WA, on a full-time nightshift basis.

About the Role

As a Boiler Operator, you will play an important role in supporting our manufacturing operations by safely operating, monitoring and maintaining our boiler and associated equipment.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is mechanically minded, safety-focused and comfortable working independently. You will be responsible for ensuring the boiler system operates safely, efficiently and reliably to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate and monitor the boiler and associated plant and equipment.

- Conduct regular inspections and operational checks.

- Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, water levels and other operating parameters.

- Maintain accurate operational logs, records and documentation.

- Carry out routine boiler maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

- Identify and report faults, equipment issues and potential safety hazards.

- Respond appropriately to alarms, operational issues and emergencies.

- Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping around the boiler and plant area.

- Ensure boiler operations comply with relevant workplace health and safety requirements and operating procedures.

- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to support reliable plant operation.

- Assist with preventative maintenance and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.

About You





We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious individual who takes pride in maintaining reliable plant operations.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- A current boiler operator's licence/ticket (Valet Boiler Ticket).

- Previous experience operating industrial boilers or similar plant and equipment.

- A sound understanding of boiler operation, monitoring and basic troubleshooting.

- Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.

- The ability to read and understand operating procedures, gauges, manuals and technical information.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe operating practices.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- The ability to work independently and remain focused during nightshift operations.

- A willingness to undertake ongoing training and maintain relevant competencies and licences.

- Australian working rights required, sponsorship not available

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment will be highly regarded.
